I like that the projects are fairly small and easily completed. And different from what I’ve seen available as commercial patterns

How to Embroider Texture and Pattern- Hand Embroidery DIY Book

This is a BEAUTIFUL book!

This is a BEAUTIFUL book! The cover is glossy and slick. The pages are not quite glossy but they are very close. The book starts with the materials and prep work. The section on different stitches has wonderful closeups. There are instructions for different patterns (which are included) with a nice progression of skill levels labeled Beginner to Advanced so you can start anywhere your skill level falls. They also have beautiful closeup photos. There is a part on finishing your pieces. Believe it or not, there is actually an Index at the back of the book! Thank you, Melissa, for sharing your skills and creating such a wonderful book! This is definitely a book all embroiderers need in their library.
